Give Locally

The holiday season is a perfect time to embrace the spirit of giving and make a tangible difference right in your own community. As you enjoy the festivities, consider extending a hand to those who need it most by supporting local charities and organizations. Whether it’s donating to a food bank, volunteering your time at a shelter, or simply contributing goods to a local toy drive, every act of generosity helps to brighten the holidays for your neighbours and strengthens the fabric of our shared home. By directing your support locally, you ensure that your kindness has a direct, immediate impact on the lives of people nearby.

Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation's annual Tree of Lights showcases three Christmas trees adorned with white lights and cards that memorialize a loved one we've lost, or honour an individual or group.

2025 BRHC Foundation Tree of Lights

The annual Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation’s Tree of Lights fundraiser is a wonderful and heartfelt way to remember and memorialize a loved one, or to honour someone special! With a minimum $15 donation, a personalized tag will be placed on the “Tree of Lights” tree in the atrium of the Brandon Regional Health Centre (BHRC) in memory or in honour of a loved one.

The Tree of Lights Campaign was introduced in 1994 and each year allows the BRHC to submit a “wish list” of gifts. The 2025 campaign will raise funds to purchase five treatment chairs for the Outpatient Unit ($16,660) and our capital campaign supporting the new Critical Care Centre under construction.
