Holiday Train

The CPKC Holiday Train is a major annual charitable event where two spectacularly decorated, brightly illuminated trains travel across the Canadian and U.S. network of Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), spreading festive cheer and raising donations for local food banks. Running from late November through December 2025, the train makes stops in numerous communities, lowering a boxcar door to transform into a stage for a free, 45-minute outdoor concert by popular Canadian and American musical acts, encouraging attendees to donate non-perishable food items or cash to help fight food insecurity in their community during the holiday season. The event has become a heartwarming holiday tradition, having raised millions of dollars and millions of pounds of food for those in need since its inaugural journey in 1999.
